About The Torii Gallery

Paul Schweitzer has been collecting, selling and buying Japanese prints since 1964. He has acted as an expert and appraiser to multiple institutions including museums and auction houses as well as to individual collectors. He has published a number of articles on Japanese woodblock prints and lectured often to Print Clubs and local chapters of Appraiser societies. He is a member of the Society for Japanese Arts.

Chuck Citrin is a physician and avid collector of Japanese prints for the past 25 years. He brings his unique point of view to the business of Japanese Prints since his experience has been primarily on the retail purchase side. He is aware of the concerns that the purchasing individual has when acquiring a work of art and will provide insight as to how to guarantee customer satisfaction. He is a member of the Ukiyo-e Society of America.
